Jessica has been practicing yoga for 2 years and has been teaching adult yoga for a little over a year. She graduated from Kula heart Yoga’s 200 hour Yoga Teacher Training program in June of 2015. She has also completed her basic training in Asana Alphabet: yoga for kids, teens, and children with special needs with Anne Robideaux. Jessica has been a preschool teacher for the past 3 years and has taught kids yoga for 2 years.

Jessica graduated from Moore College of Art and Design in 2000 with a BFA in textile design. She loves being able to incorporate her creative side into fun, energizing and creative hatha flow sequences.

Jessica has also completed trainings with Florence Corcoran, Advanced Anatomy and Physiology; and Jason Crandell, Asana and Anatomy.

Jessica is newer to yoga but has jumped in two feet at a time after being swept off her feet by the enchanting practice. She says, “Yoga feels natural to me. It isn’t just about how it makes me feel stronger and more flexible physically, but also how strong and independent it makes me feel emotionally. I have found the true me. Yoga brings together all of my passions: people, art, creativity, and a love of physically activity.  I love that yoga pushes me to explore territory past my comfort zones and continuously challenges me. As I grow and become a more experienced teacher I can only hope to offer the same opportunity for discovery for others. My mantra for the past year has been:

    I am happy
    I am strong
    I am loved
    I am love
    I am enough

I hope you too tap into the power within you.
